B&Q Darnley
Zenith were successfully awarded a Major civil package to remediate a historical subsidence issue to the busy service yard of one of the biggest B&Q’s nationally.
Works include implementation of a temporary service yard, suspended slab design, drainage repairs, slab removal, excavation to formation and pile mat installation, whilst also undertaking a temporary internal Digihub refurbishment, and full customer toilet refurbishment.
- Subsidence works have commenced, all affected areas to the service yard and access road have been broken up and removed.
- CCTV survey carried out to existing foul and surface water lines/manholes.
- Ground levels reduced, Services exposed and concrete cap protection installed.
- Piling mat constructed as per design.
- Steel ring beam cages assembled and ready to install once piling is completed.
- 57 no piles coordinated and installed over a two-day period.
- Ground levels reduced ready to crop piles and begin installing the steel ring beam cages.
